GAMIING takes coordinator role in the 2008 TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup
On Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m., GAMIING will be at the Bobcaygeon Beach
Park, welcoming participants in this event.
The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup focuses on raising awareness and
changing attitudes about our shorelines. It hopes to foster stewardship
for
the community's waterways.
On Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m., GAMIING will be in Lindsay at the
Lindsay Rivera Park.
It literally is an activity that is concerned with litter — cleaning it
up.
The expectation is that shifting how people view litter stimulates caring and stewardship, and therefore helps to restore and
preserve
habitats for the future. See you there!
