GAMIING receives funding
GAMIING received funding from Service Canada, the EJLB Foundation and the Ontario Economic Deveopment Program. The Service Canada grant allows us to hire a student for the summer to help us maintain the nursery and the trails. The EJLB grant provides for the hiring of a graduate during the summer to coordinate lakeshore visits. The OEDP grant provides for a 6-month internship to work on lakeshore restoration projects, which includes designing and implementing of projects. GAMIING thanks the funders.

'Naturally for Kids' Summer Day Camp
Our Day Camp Programs focus on discoveries in the natural world, be it forest, wetland or meadows, with new discoveries made each day. Exploring different habitats and our relationship to them is a daily happening. Real science projects to gain an understanding of natural events are offered in hands-on projects. Learning about our footprints on the Earth and how we can make them smaller is all part of becoming an EcoGuardian.

Wildlife at GAMIING — Permanent Exhibition
The "Wildlife at GAMIING" photographic exhibition, located in the Discovery Shack, is a celebration of the return of much wildlife to the area and especially to GAMIING, where the exhibited photographs were taken. Birds, mammals, and amphibians are displayed in their natural habitat. Wildlife photographer Greg Dudley shows an incredible eye and love for nature which he so splendidly expresses in his photographs. GAMIING is very proud to have this display, not only as an artistic view of what GAMIING has to offer, but also as an educational experience for kids of all ages.
