2009 EcoGuardian Education Programs

Location

Programs take place at GAMIING Centre for Sustainable Lakeshore Living, 1884 Pigeon Lake Road (#17), just 15 minutes south of Bobcaygeon, and 15 minutes east of Lindsay. Please meet in the Discovery Shack, next to the parking lot at the west driveway.

How to Register

Download a Program Registration Form to mail, fax or drop off. Online registration is currently available for Summer Nature Camp only.

Payments may be made by cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to: GAMIING Inc. We will confirm by phone, email, or in person as soon as your registration is complete.

Options 1 and 2 — Mail or Drop Off
Print off and fill out the Program Registration Form. Mail or drop off your form and payment to:

If the Centre is closed, you can drop your form and payment off any day of the week, at any time, in our locked mail/donation box. Mail is picked up daily. Take the west driveway into the parking lot; the box is at the entrance to the property at the south end of the parking lot.

Option 3 — Fax
Print off and fill out the Program Registration Form. Fax to 705-799-7083. Mail or drop off payment to GAMIING Centre for Sustainable Lakeshore Living, 1884 Pigeon Lake Road, Lindsay, ON K9V 4R5.

Option 4 — Online Registration for Summer Nature Camp only.
If you're registering for one of the two Summer Nature Camps, fill out the Online Registration Form and mail or drop off payment to GAMIING Centre for Sustainable Lakeshore Living, 1884 Pigeon Lake Road, Lindsay, ON K9V 4R5.

Cancellation Policy

Plans can change quickly. For a refund, please email or call in your request at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. An administration fee of only 10% will be charged for early cancellations.

For requests received less than 10 business days prior to the start of the program, an administration fee of 50% of the program cost will apply. A full refund will be issued if a program is cancelled by GAMIING.

Weather Policies

All our programs will proceed with rain, snow or shine. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather as we will be outdoors for most of the activities. Indoor programs will be run in the case of severe weather: heavy rain, thunderstorms, snowstorms, high winds. Trails are maintained, but rustic. In the spring and summer the site can be very muddy and uneven; please wear appropriate footwear. We also advise wearing or bringing long pants, socks and long-sleeved tops to protect against poison ivy. If you have any questions, please contact the GAMIING office, 705-799-7083.

We value highly their commitment and expertise. Our volunteers contribute hundreds of hours, and have brought our organization to where it is today.
