GAMIING A Place for All Seasons

Whether it be the sound of silence,
the rush of water, the crackle of leaves
or the crunch of snow under foot,
GAMIING is truly a place for all seasons,
a magical place.

It is a place where Ojibwa people lived, hunted
and gathered food and used canoes as their means
of transportation.

The name GAMIING was chosen to honour those
who lived here before us.
GAMIING, pronounced gaa-'ming,
means "at the shore",
the place where land and water meet.

Welcome to GAMIING NATURE CENTRE

Gamiing is a not-for-profit charitable organization
which serves the community with eco-educational programs.
Much of our work is done with the help of volunteers.
